Lumin8 Liquids All-Purpose Soap is a legitimate ALL-PURPOSE SOAP. It allows you to sell 1 product that is effective as a routine maintenance soap for all vehicles, whether they have no protection, ceramic spray wax, nano ceramic coatings, PPF (film, spray, or liquid), vinyl, or paint protection coatings.
They can also use it to wash their commercial equipment, RVs, trailers, watercraft (not FULL ECO RELEASE in marinas, though), and off-road toys.
How to Use Lumin8 All Purpose Soap
Our All-Purpose Soap has been formulated to be used in three ways:
Traditional Bucket Wash
This is the wash method used by most DIY enthusiasts and owners of vehicles, watercraft, and off-road equipment. Add ½ oz per gallon of water for bucket contact washing. Or – the exact 1:256 dilution.
Hybrid Foam Cannon – Wash Mitt
This is an exceptional time-saving maintenance wash for both professionals and direct consumers with a pressure washer. In a 32oz foam cannon, add 2oz of All Purpose Soap after adding 30oz of room temperature water (1:128 ratio). Pre-rinse the vehicle to remove standing debris, then foam onto the entire vehicle.
Using two wash mitts – or 4 microfiber wash towels, proceed with your contact wash, one side at a time. Use a fresh wash mitt for each side of the vehicle, then rinse off completely.
Non-Contact Wash
The non-contact wash is the best way to maintain the vehicle every few weeks. Compatible with both foam cannons and foam guns, begin by pre-rinsing the vehicle to remove all standing debris.
Prepare the foam cannon or foam gun cannister by adding 4oz of room-temperature water per 32oz of container (1:64 ratio).
Continue by washing your wheels and tires FIRST – using dedicated washing media – and Lumin8 Liquids Multiple Purpose Cleaner Spray (or your favorite wheel and tire cleaner).
Once the wheels and tires are clean, foam the entire vehicle – make multiple passes to ensure even coverage and reduce premature drying. Let the foam dwell for 3 to 5 minutes (indoors or low surface temperatures) or 3 minutes in direct sunlight.
Rinse off, then dry.

Can this soap be used on all vehicle surfaces?
Yes, our soap is safe for use on all exterior vehicle surfaces, including paint, glass, and plastic, carbon fiber, chrome, gelcoats, and non-coated metals - without causing damage or streaks.
It is also safe for vehicles with no surface protection, as well as those that are waxed, have paint sealants, ceramic coatings, or paint protection coatings applied. It is also safe for water-resistant vinyl, paint protection film, gel coat, non-skid surfaces on boats, and unprotected metals.
How much soap should I use per wash?
Lumin8 All Purpose Soap is highly concentrated, with a dilution ratio of 1:256. For traditional bucket hand washing, we recommend using one ounce of soap per (2) gallon of water to achieve optimal cleaning results.
For foam cannon use, we recommend 2 oz per 32-oz foam cannon container (for pre-washing or combined with contact washing using microfiber wash media).
For a truly touchless maintenance wash, use 4 oz per 32 oz of foam cannon. Pre-rinse with fresh water to remove standing solid debris, and pre-treat impact areas that may be embedded with bug guts with Lumin8 Multiple Purpose Cleaner. Once that's complete, foam the entire exterior. Let the product dwell for 3 to 5 minutes (or before the soap starts to dry), then rinse completely and dry your vehicle.
Is Lumin8 Liquids Car Wash Soap safe for ceramic coatings?
Absolutely! Our soap is pH-neutral yet aggressive enough to remove pollen, road grime, and other natural toxins that can reduce the hydrophobic properties of ceramic coatings.
The high lubricity and foaming agents make it gentle to use, making it ideal for maintaining ceramic coatings without stripping them.
Does the soap leave any residue after rinsing?
No, our advanced formula ensures a residue-free finish, leaving your vehicle spotless and gleaming. As long as you're not using too much soap or it's dried onto your vehicle's surface, you won't see any residue after rinsing.
